I am unable to read any of the files on the DXbase CD.  All I see is a readme message about Joliette?  The DXbase installation requires that your CD drive be a Windows compliant drive and installed properly through Windows.  This message can originate from Windows if your CD drive is using a old DOS based driver that does not support long filenames used routinely in Windows.  If your CD drive is connected to a sound card IDE jack, try moving it to an IDE port on the mother board.  Try reinstalling your CD drive through Windows.
