When
you install DXbase, it is initially in 15 day trial mode.
After purchase, you will receive a registration key that
automatically turns the program into a fully functional registered
version.

The
key consists of a 1k file that you simply double click with your
mouse and the registration is accomplished. |
|
When
you place your order, you will provide the base callsigns that you
wish to register. The callsigns that you may register will
be limited to the following:
1.
Your current callsign.
2.
Any previous callsigns that you wish to use in DXbase and that
were licensed to you.
3.
If you are a QSL manager for a DX station and you plan to enter
QSOs for the station you manage you will provide the callsign for
the DX station.

The
registration key can be used on any of your computers.
DXbase does NOT use any hardware
locking. So, changing hardware does not impact the
registration key.
One registration key can handle multiple
callsigns.
A maximum of ten callsigns can be
registered.

Only
base callsigns should be provided. There is no need to
register portable operations. Fields are provided on the
order form for entering the callsigns that you wish to register.
Callsigns
that you will not use in DXbase should not be registered.

|
When
your base callsign such as AA4LU is registered, you can use
portable designations such as AA4LU/VP9 or FG/AA4LU without having
to register the portable designations. |
|
If
your XYL or child who live with you will also use DXbase on your
machine, you should provide their callsign at the time you
register DXbase.

|
Persons
who do not live with you cannot be included in your registration. |
|
If
you change callsigns, it will be necessary to obtain a new
registration key. Registration keys can ONLY be generated
for the current version of DXbase.

Nominal

registration key will be emailed to you as an attachment to an
email. Or, will be included on a floppy disk or CD if you are
purchasing DXbase on CD. |
