ARRL Logbook of the World

Woodstock, GA - July 27, 2001 - Scientific Solutions announces its participation in the development of a software interface to the planned ARRL Logbook of the World electronic QSL database.  Dubbed LoTW by the ARRL, this project will be a massive undertaking with some very high goals.  Following the announcement by the ARRL board of directors, developers of DXbase were asked and quickly agreed to be an active participant in the development of an interface from the DXbase logging software for Windows to allow users to send log and confirmation information to the proposed ARRL database.  This work will be a collaboration by many different software developers which upon completion will revolutionize and streamline the process of confirming QSOs, submitting for awards, and producing statistical information.  Watch for ARRL bulletins to provide status information on this project.  Project time tables have not been announced, but work is scheduled to begin immediately.
