Q: I am having difficulty importing my DXbase for DOS into DXbase 2005?

If you are importing from DXbase for DOS v5.0 or later, use the ADIF export option in DXbase for DOS in the Import utility and then use the Import utility of DXbase for Windows to import the ADIF file.  If you are importing from earlier versions of DXbase for DOS, be sure that you have followed the instructions in the DXbase 2005 help file in the section called Import, importing DXbase for DOS.  If this does not solve the issue, drop us an email describing the symptoms and we can assist.

Q: How do I modify my database in DXbase 98 to handle the changes for the VR/VS prefixes?

For your convenience, we have prepared a step by step procedure which can be found on the support page of this web.

Q: Adding user defined hotkeys sometimes fails?

This condition has been reported, but we have not been able to reproduce it here.   We continue to investigate and will update this entry when we have additional information to share.

Q: Is there a later version of radios.ini that supports my radio better in DXbase 2005?

Check the download section of this web for availability of any updated files.

Q: How do I get my new callsign into my DXbase for DOS program?

For those who are using the current version of DXbase for DOS, we can prepare a new executable file that will contain your new callsign.  Drop us an email and let us know what you need and we can email the new file to you.  If you require us to mail a new disk, there is a $15.00 service charge.  If you are not using the current version, it will be necessary for you to upgrade in order for us to make the change since we do not maintain outdated code and have no way to create the change in the old program.

Q: Spare2?
