| Error:
During DXB Import, cannot find file refdata.mdb |
|
|
Symptom
|
|
When running the DXB Import utility program, user selects the source and target path and is then presented with the main
import screen. User then selects the "Begin" import icon and an error is
received that indicates that the file REFDATA.MDB cannot be found. Import is then
aborted by the software. |
|
Cause |
|
On the main import screen, there is a field
called "DXbase Path". The default entry in this field should be the full
path to the location of your DXbase 2007 program. In some cases, the software does
not end this entry with a backslash. Without the ending backslash ( \ ) character,
the full path is not read correctly and therefore the refdata.mdb file is not found. |
|
Solution |
|
Select the source and target files using the
button located to the right of each field. Before starting the import, look at the
entry in the DXbase Path field on the main import screen. If it does not already end
with a backslash character ( \ ) user should add the backslash character at the end of the
entry. There should be NO spaces between the last character already displayed and
the backslash character that is added. If you used the default installation, your DXbase
Path should be similar to this:
C:\Program Files\Scientific
Solutions\DXbase 2007\
Note the last backslash. |
