9. Added new fields for use on labels and cards:
a. Operator name
b. Satellite name
c. IOTA
d. GRID
e. Ten-Ten
f. RST received
g. Frequency
h. CFM variable expanded to be unique for multiple Q's on a label.
10. Added new module for storing special event information. At program startup
DXbase will automatically notify you of the events scheduled for the month.
11. When using contest mode, DXbase will now optionally generate an incremental
serial number and place it in the QSO notes section as the first entry.
12. Added SSTV as a filter criteria for WAS award selection.
13. Added bitmap button on all HF and VHF Summary windows. Clicking this
button will display the Previous QSOs for the current tab, i.e.,
Country, IOTA, Zone, Grid, WPX, State.
14. Changed toolbar bitmap for Previous QSO to be consistent with new bitmap
image now used in item 13.
15. When logging a QSO, DXbase will automatically change the band field to
agree with any change made in the frequency field.
16. Changed format of frequency field in QSO log, HF Frequency module, and
Previous QSO module to be right justified. DXbase will
now automatically force two decimal places in the frequency.
17. Added File Menu option to write the contents of the packet windows to a
user selected text file.
18. When logging a QSO, DXbase will automatically recompute and change the CQ
and ITU zones if the prefix field is changed.
19. When logging a QSO, if the prefix is changed from what DXbase selected, you
will be asked if you want to add a callsign mapping entry to the prefix database.
If you answer YES, the callsign will be added with a map entry to the new
prefix that you selected.
20. Corrected problem where VFOb would be populated into QSO notes if HF radio
was set to split even though user option was turned off.
21. Added new Band Plan Mapping table for use when logging QSOs. When the frequency
is entered manually, or when the frequency is changed, DXbase will use the new
mapping table for determing the mode. The mode field will automatically be changed.
An unlimited number of frequency ranges can be entered with each range mapped
to any of the valid modes.
22. Current record in the Previous QSO Window will now be highlighted.
24. Current record in View Labels module will now be highlighted.
25. Current record in Prefix database modules will now be highlighted.

the information for what you entered.
27. Added option to over ride mode returned from HF radio and use the mode from
the Band Plan mapping table instead.
28. Moved the Callsign and Personal Data user options out of the DXCC Award module
and placed it under the TOOLS/OPTIONS menu.
30. Updated the Import utility to accept the new digital bands during ADIF import.
31. Corrected problem importing DXbase 98 QSOs for the date field. Removed support
for importing DXbase 97 records.
32. Added a direct link to the DXbase web site from the help menu button. If you
are already connected to the internet, this will automatically display the
DXbase web site.
33. Added CW sound files for use in announcing DX spots in CW.
34. Added ability for DXbase to use the mode from your QSO log when creating
an outgoing DX spot. This allows the digital modes to be auto populated
into the comments field of the spot such as PSK31, MT-63, etc.
35. Added serial port interface support for the M2, SARTEK, Yaesu, and Hygain rotors.
User options allow for offsets for South mounted beams. A new toolbar
provides for setting short path, long path, 5 degree left, 5 degree right
and manually entered degrees. Toolbar can be hidden for those who do not
use this feature.
36. Added capability to block automatic screen updates in the VHF and Internet
windows. A new button is included on the VHF and Internet toolbars for this
purpose. This allows user to scroll through the entries without the window
automatic jumping to the end of the list of entries.
37. Added a validation in the QSO logging module that will warn you if you try
to log a packet spot when there is already an unsaved QSO pending in your
log.
38. When sending a DX spot, DXbase will automatically populate the IOTA in the
comments field of the outgoing spot if there is an IOTA present in the QSO
for which you are sending the spot.
39. Added direct interface to the GoList. This feature passes the DX Call to the
GoList MSDOS program and performs an automatic lookup with results displayed
in the GoList MSDOS box.
40. If a VHF or Internet spot contains IOTA info, the HF statistics IOTA tab will
be automatically updated for that IOTA.
41. When logging a VHF or Internet spot that contains IOTA info, the IOTA field
in the QSO log will be automatically populated with the IOTA.
42. The tilda ( ~ ) can now be sent in the VHF xmit window and cause the ESC character
to be sent.
43. When clicking on a VHF, Internet, or DX Info spot that contains IOTA info, the
HF statistics window IOTA tab will be automatically updated for that IOTA.
44. When starting DXbase, the current tab in Hf Statistics, VHF Statistics, General
info, and DX Info windows will be automatically set to the settings that were
in use when DXbase was last closed.
