Q. How do you know if I am a
registered user of the current release?
A. Scientific Solutions
automatically registers all customers at the time they purchase our products.
Therefore, we have records of customers and the release level last purchased.
If there is a suspected error regarding our records, you may be asked to furnish a
photocopy of the CD to substantiate your ownership of the current release.
Q. I purchased a new copy of DXbase
in March and you offered an upgrade in April. Will I receive a free upgrade.
A. Yes. Since you purchased a
new copy of the previous version within 60 days of a newer version being announced, you
would be entitled to the new release. Shipping charges would apply.
Q. I upgraded my copy of DXbase in
March and you offered an upgrade in April. Will I receive a free upgrade.
A. No. Our offer to provide
free upgrades applies to those who purchase a new copy of DXbase.
Q. What about bug fixes?
A. Despite our best efforts, there
may be a case where a serious bug is identified in a current release. In this case,
a patch will be posted as soon as possible to our web site and made available for download
at no charge.
